Last updated: March 28, 2024

We are Zanido Software Ltda ("Zanido Software" or "we"), and we provide you with our application "ScanGrader" ("App" or "ScanGrader") under the Terms of Service.

We know you care about your privacy and we appreciate and value the trust you place in us.

Personal data in ScanGrader

ScanGrader does not collect, track or store any personal data (not even your name or email).

App data in ScanGrader

The data you provide to ScanGrader includes students data (name, academic ID), classes data (name, students), tests data (name, date, classes), scanned data (images of test sheets). This data is processed by ScanGrader, producing grading data for each student and/or class and/or test.

Zanido Software does not maintain external servers to store or process the data you provide to ScanGrader. All data you provide to ScanGrader, decribed above, is processed solely in your IOS device. Data you provide and data processed by ScanGrader are stored solely in your IOS device unless:

  • you choose to export it (in PDF or CSV format, depending on what data you are exporting), to use in your own external system.
  • you have a valid subscription and choose to share the data provided to ScanGrader with all of your own other IOS devices through iCloud. In that case, the data is mirrored to an external server, as part of the iCloud service provided by Apple. You can find the Terms of Service for iCloud here.

In some countries information you provide to ScanGrader, such as students names and grade levels, may be subject to further regulations, such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act in the United States of America. Even though all data you provide to ScanGrader is stored in your own IOS device, you must guarantee that you have legitimate access to that data.

Subscriptions

We rely on Apple to process subscriptions, through the AppleStore. We do not store subscription or payment data; we receive only a hash (electronic value) from the AppleStore to verify the transactions.

Analytics and diagnostics

We do not collect any analytics or diagnostics data.

Privacy Policy update

This Privacy Policy and the relationships falling under its effect are regulated by laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for countries within the European Union. Existing laws and requirements for the processing of personal data are subject to changes. In case of changes we will publish a new version of the Privacy Policy.

If significant material changes are made, which affect your privacy and confidentiality, we will notify you by displaying the necessary information in the App and ask for your consent.
